Reusable Packaging in
The Food Industry

The thesis aims to highlight the potential of the ‘Bring it Back’ method to transform food packaging design. By exploring its influence on current packaging practices, I aim to determine the feasibility and benefits of reintroducing this method on a larger scale. Key aspects include its impact on design, economic implications, and ability to reduce environmental damage.
Rather than seeking to eliminate plastic or other popular packaging materials, my research encouraged designers to consider the ‘Bring it Back’ approach as a viable recycling option to enhance sustainability in food packaging.
